And this is exactly what I am going to share with you in today's
article.

The way this is being monetized is though affiliate programs that you
can sign up to for free they provide you a tracking link and anyone
that clicks that links and buys something from the site your sending
them to, earns you a commission.

OK lets have a look at an example where someone has setup a free web
page and are getting free traffic to an offer that pays them
commission!

Example Niche Market No. 1 - `Arowana Dragon Fish'

Have no idea what an `Arowana Dragon Fish' is? Dont worry neither did I
apparently its an expensive tropical fish that costs $5000 - $10,000
each to buy and are very hard to look after and breed, odd huh?

If we go to `Google' and type in `arowana dragon fish breeding' lets
see what comes up.

As you can see from the image above the first result on Google is a
`Squidoo Page' one of the `Web 2.0' sites that I mentioned further up
in this article.

This is a user generated content site that allows people to use
affiliate links too, and this site does belong to an affiliate. Like
all the sites mentioned above its free to use and `anyone' could setup
a page like this with no technical experience.

OK lets see what other keywords this page shows up for,

For the keyword `arowana dragon fish' which will be a much higher
traffic keyword this site shows up again at number 6 on the page.

OK this is great, but seriously NO ONE would be searching for this
would they? I mean come on it's some over priced obscure fish....

Well lets see what Google has to say about it...

Well according to Google at least 480 people globally search for this
particular keyword every month, but this is not the whole market this
is just one keyword lets have a look at some of the traffic for related
keywords.

Turn to the next page and we will have a look at some more keywords for
this `Fish'...

This is just a small sample from Google's External Keyword Tool but as
you can see there are a lot of searches going on for this...

The keyword `arowana' alone gets 246,000 people search for it every
month!

OK well yeah this is interesting but how is this guy making any money
from this...

On further inspection of this page I have found out that this `FREE'
Squidoo page is promoting a product available to affiliates in the
Clickbank network (also FREE to join). Lets check out how much
commission this product pays out. To Do this we head over to the
ClickBank Marketplace and search for the product.

As you can see from the image above the product being promoted on this
Squidoo page, pays a 50% commission for every sale you get them.

Which in the example above gives you $16.61 for every sale you make.

if you have registered for a FREE Clickbank Account then all you have
to do is click the `Promote' button and enter in your affiliate ID to
get your tracking link. It's that simple.

Let lets take a step back a minute and see what has happened here:
1. An affiliate has registered a `FREE' ClickBank account.
2. Setup a `FREE' web page that anyone can do.
3. Now is getting `FREE' traffic to a commission paying product.

Hi my name is Ben Harbour I am from the UK, I have been in the internet
marketing world since 2004, I started out running an eBay business I
was 18 at the same time I was working full time as a sales person
selling financial products like mortgages in a call centre by phone in
order to generate leads and appointments for IFA's.

My eBay business was selling eBooks and information products. My first
information product that I created was a video tutorial on how to use
Turbo Lister a free piece of software made by eBay to help mass list
auctions.

I started to look more into search engine optimization and selling from
websites rather than using eBay as I could see business limitations by
being depended on such 3rd party services and as a consequence came
into contact with affiliate marketing.

I focused mainly on selling niche information products as an affiliate
for the next year until I changed jobs in late 2006 to work in the
partnerships department in a financial company generating leads for
debt management and insolvency packages.

At this time I saw the amount of money being made in lead generation in
these fields, where collecting online contact information of people
looking for financial products could be sold for up to Ł50 a lead
(aprox $100 at the time).

I started to generate leads online for all kinds of local business and
by august 2008 I left my job to work full time on my business.

I have been self employed for well over a year now and am moving
heavily into information product development as a business model,
though out my carrier of marketing online I have learnt a lot about
traffic generation, copywriting, and setting up successful sales
funnels.

I will be releasing a few information products relating to these
expertise, and if they are popular may consider using some of my niche
